Pei Shi jie came and left:( Two weeks flew by fast. Amanda and I met her on the tuesday that week for dinner and TGIF and before that Psj and I went to Far East Floral at Thomson. She needed to go there to get flowers for Magdeline's engagement ceremony. The flowers there are soooooo pretty!! I told her that its a must for her to do the flower arrangements when I can married:D:D hahaha. These flowers are treated way better than us, the people of Singapore I tell you. They are kept at 12 degree celcius and we are to put up with the fury sun, about 30 degree celsius. THAT'S 18 DEGREE CELCIUS DIFFERENT!!!! *rolls eyes*
STEAK, hohohoho!
Ribs *winks*
These potato skins are my favourite:D
LOVESS
I've known psj for more than half of my life, since I was a small girl. I actually went with sway gu when he went on dates with her. Major lightbulb but owell, I believe that they had fun with me around. Or at least I hope they did:S Its too late anyway! ahahaha. PS: if you two are reading this, I thank God for sending you guys. Wouldn't have come so far without you:) and sway gu, I miss you a lot!
Salt cell and leaders' cell had a retreat that weekend too:D Steamboat for dinner, a crazy sing-a-long session before we went to sleep and self made breakfast in the morning!:D Chillax to the max, wheehoo! (pictures courtesy of Jo)
and we threw everthing into the pot, the slacker's way!:)
Look at those happy people eating....
May Le Pastor is hard at work again, making french toast for us:) I never knew french toast was made like that. And once again, I learn something new everyday.
The scramble eggs on the ride of the picture might look very disgusting but trust me, with those cheese on top of it. The taste made up for everything else! :D
99 Balloons
We watched 99balloons for one of the sessions we had. 99 Balloons is about a baby boy, Eliot who was born with an undeveloped lung, a hole in his heart and a DNA that placed faulty information to every single cell in his body. Despite all these, his parents never gave up and Eliot lived longer than doctors expected him to. Well he past away on his 99th day and at his funeral, 99 balloons were released into the sky. Eliot couldn't suck his thumb because he was born with clenched fists and when he finally did it, it was such an encouragement to his parents. More often than not, we take things for granted. We cast aside and not take these simple things like releasing our fists and breathing on our own into consideration. How often do we give thanks to God for all that He has given to us? We need to pull ourselves away from this world that keeps wanting more. We could have turned out a lot worse without God. Whether it's big or small, it's all by His grace and mercy.
Looking at Eliot, I figured that although my life isin't exactly the best, what normal people's lives are. I wouldn't trade anything in the world to have my life on a different route. God placed me in this situation according to His wondrous plans and there's no way I can ever comprehend them.
You are the same yesterday and today and forevermore
Here on your promises I stand
You hold my future in your hand
My solid rock, Almighty God
I worship you.
4 more days to the end of CTs!!:)
